Lead the Global Credit Provisions Reporting & Planning team at Scotiabank as a Senior Manager in Toronto, Ontario. Drive financial integrity and strategic oversight for allowance management across global portfolios.
In this pivotal role, you'll oversee the aggregation, governance, analysis, and reporting of Global Credit Allowance for Credit Losses (ACL) and Provision for Credit Losses (PCL). With a focus on strategic process modernization, you'll implement AI tools and drive critical financial disclosures aligned with IFRS 9. Your leadership will foster collaboration across key finance and risk teams.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead monthly and quarterly Global Credit Provisions reporting metrics
• Own the financial disclosure process for ACL and PCL
• Design and implement AI-enabled tools and analytics
• Develop dashboard reporting for senior management insights
• Foster partnerships with Finance, Risk, and Technology teams
Requirements:
• University degree in finance, accounting, or related discipline
• Minimum five years’ experience in credit risk and reporting
• Strong knowledge of automation tools like SQL, SAS, or Python
• Proven leadership and communication skills
• Understanding of regulatory requirements and IFRS 9 Utilize your analytical skills and leadership experience to enhance Scotiabank's global credit provisioning strategies.
