Active Living Managers at Cogir Senior Living develop recreation programs using creativity and leadership to enhance residents’ quality of life. The work centers on holistic well-being.
This manager assesses residents’ needs and delivers meaningful programming for retirees in independent living, assisted living, and memory care. You will build calendars and newsletters, schedule events and live entertainment, and evaluate program offerings. You will also motivate teams and support customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess residents’ needs and develop meaningful active living programs
- Create monthly calendars and newsletters for residence activities
- Schedule events and live entertainment for residents
- Evaluate and improve program choices and offerings
- Grow and evaluate the active volunteer program
Requirements:
- Two years’ recreation or active living experience
- One year’s leadership experience with mature adults and seniors
- Two-year post-secondary education in a related field
- Current CPR and first aid certification
- Strong leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills
