Apply senior C programming and PowerBuilder expertise to enterprise application development, maintenance, and enhancement projects. This is an eight-month contract supporting reliable application solutions.
The Senior System Analyst / Application Developer works across requirements gathering, system analysis, programming, database design, testing, and production support. The work connects business users, subject matter experts, development teams, and technical stakeholders. Core technologies include C, PowerBuilder, InfoMaker, Sybase SQL, Microsoft SQL Server, and Solaris 11.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and enhance enterprise applications with C and PowerBuilder
- Gather requirements and translate them into technical designs
- Design SQL databases and maintain technical documentation
- Conduct unit, system, and integration testing
- Coordinate releases, deployments, and operational application support
Requirements:
- Five years of software development process experience
- Five years as an Application Developer in enterprise IT
- Five years using C on Solaris or RedHat platforms
- Five years with SQL Server, SSMS, and stored procedures
- Five years gathering and validating end-user requirements
