Support learner wellness at Northeastern's Vancouver campus through wellness programming, case management, and resources, referrals, and guidance. This 18 month term appointment serves students directly.
The Wellness Program Specialist develops proactive programming addressing all dimensions of wellness. The Specialist tailors Northeastern resources, connects learners with Vancouver resources, and collaborates across global campuses. The work includes supporting healthy practices, addressing challenges, and maintaining continual follow up for students in crisis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver student wellness programming plans
- Serve as case manager for students in crisis
- Provide resources, referrals, and wellness guidance
- Track engagement, trainings, cases, communications, and trends
- Manage surveys and analyze results for recommendations
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree and two to four years' experience
- Experience in college, university, wellness, or student services
- Diplomacy and sensitivity handling confidential matters
- Analytical skills, accuracy, judgment, and follow through
- Clear communication with diverse student populations
