Support construction layout and site measurements as an Assistant Surveyor with ACCIONA in Don Mills, North York. Use Total Stations and GPS in field-based work.
This Assistant Surveyor supports land, topographic, and construction surveys for engineering projects. You will collaborate with surveyors, civil engineers, and construction teams while collecting accurate site data. The work includes field activities and office-based data processing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist land, topographic, and construction site surveys
- Support site layout and staking against engineering plans
- Collect and process measurements, elevations, and site conditions
- Operate and maintain calibrated surveying equipment
- Prepare maps, reports, and technical drawings
Requirements:
- Diploma or associate degree in surveying, geomatics, or related field
- One-plus years surveying, land measurement, or construction layout experience
- Basic proficiency with Total Stations, GPS, or Laser Levels
- Familiarity with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, GIS, or similar tools
- Ability to work outdoors in varied weather conditions
