Test and repair electronic assemblies with surface mount soldering expertise at Mircom’s head office in Vaughan, Ontario. This full time role requires hands-on electronics experience.
Mircom seeks an electronics professional with two to five years of practical testing and repair experience. You will troubleshoot Mircom products using oscilloscopes, test fixtures, and other equipment. The work includes production support, technical guidance, and maintaining workmanship quality. Post-secondary electronics education and schematic-reading ability are required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Test and repair electronic devices and assemblies
- Perform surface mount repair and light soldering
- Maintain workmanship quality throughout testing and repairs
- Support production lines with technical assistance
- Train new employees on testing and repair
Requirements:
- Post-secondary education in electronics
- Two to five years testing electronic assemblies
- Ability to read and understand schematics
- Basic Microsoft Suite and computer literacy
- Strong written, oral, and interpersonal communication
