Insight Global is seeking a Lead Data Designer/Data Mapper to support a large-scale Wealth Data Platform initiative. This role will own logical data models, source-to-target mappings, transformation rules, and integration specifications that enable consistent, high-quality data delivery across the enterprise. The successful candidate will partner closely with Business Analysts, Solution Architects, Data Engineers, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable data designs.
Responsibilities
- Define logical, canonical, and dimensional data models.
- Create and maintain source-to-target mappings and transformation specifications.
- Design schemas and integration requirements for data warehouses, lakes, and analytics platforms.
- Define data quality, validation, reconciliation, and lineage requirements.
- Develop data contracts and interface specifications.
- Partner with architecture and engineering teams to ensure designs are implemented consistently.
- Support discovery, solution design, and project delivery activities.
Required Skills and Experience
- 8+ years of experience in Data Modelling, Data Design, or Data Integration within Wealth Management, Asset Management, or Financial Services domains.
- Strong experience with source-to-target mapping and data transformation design.
- Experience designing data models for enterprise data platforms, data warehouses, or data lakes.
- Strong understanding of relational and dimensional modelling techniques.
- Experience working with cloud-based data platforms (AWS preferred).
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
We may use artificial intelligence tools to assist with the screening, assessment, or selection of potential applicants for this position. This role is for a new vacant opening within a new project.
