Design enterprise network security architecture in Calgary, focusing on segmentation strategy and Zero Trust governance across hybrid environments.
Raise is hiring a Network Security Architect for a one-year contract supporting a major Canadian airline. You will establish architectural standards, governance models, and policy frameworks for on-premises data centers and cloud environments. The work emphasizes architecture, design, governance, and multi-year roadmap development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop multi-year enterprise segmentation roadmaps
- Define security zones, trust boundaries, and segmentation principles
- Create network security reference architectures and models
- Establish policy lifecycle governance and approval processes
- Produce architecture decision records and remediation recommendations
Requirements:
- 10+ years in network or cybersecurity architecture
- Enterprise segmentation strategy and governance experience
- Hybrid cloud and data center security architecture experience
- Knowledge of Zero Trust and microsegmentation principles
- Experience with Palo Alto, VMware NSX, or Azure security
