Lead crushing and screening maintenance for William Day Construction Limited in Greater Sudbury, using troubleshooting expertise to protect uptime. Coordinate repairs, schedules, and teams across operations.
This manager oversees maintenance activities supporting crushing and screening production. The position requires aggregate processing knowledge, mechanical aptitude, and experience with crushers, conveyors, hydraulics, and power transmission systems. You will coordinate preventive maintenance, corrective repairs, workforce scheduling, and safety compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee jaw crushers, cone crushers, screens, conveyors, and feeders
- Execute documented preventive maintenance schedules
- Lead mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical troubleshooting
- Coordinate repairs with production requirements
- Coach maintenance technicians and coordinate subcontractors
Requirements:
- Minimum five years crushing and screening maintenance experience
- Supervisory or leadership experience in maintenance
- Ability to interpret technical diagrams and equipment manuals
- Strong understanding of OHSA and workplace safety practices
- Availability for shifts, remote sites, and travel
