Build secure data infrastructure as a Senior Platform Engineer in Toronto, Vancouver, or Calgary, using Terraform, Kubernetes, and cloud services.
At Peoples Group, you will build and run production-grade infrastructure that data teams depend on. This hybrid role focuses on reusable infrastructure as code, CI/CD, reliability, security, and developer experience. You will work with engineering, security, and business partners to deliver dependable platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and evolve data platform infrastructure
- Design reusable Terraform modules and consistent environments
- Build CI/CD golden paths for data engineers
- Own availability, disaster recovery, and capacity planning
- Implement access controls, encryption, and data masking
Requirements:
- Six or more years in Platform, DevOps, or SRE roles
- Greenfield platform build experience from architecture through production
- Hands-on Terraform expertise across many environments
- Production Docker and Kubernetes experience
- Strong cloud-native experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP
