Build Python and TypeScript applications at CoolIT in a hybrid Software Engineer role connecting factory systems, equipment, and operational data.
As a Software Engineer, you will modernize factory operations through connected software and reliable data. You will develop user-facing and server-side applications, integrate business and manufacturing systems, and support practical production tools. The role includes requirements gathering, architecture, testing, deployment, and ongoing system support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define system requirements with operations teams, engineers, and users
- Build applications using Python, JavaScript, and TypeScript
- Develop interfaces that improve production workflows and reduce manual tasks
- Maintain APIs, automated workflows, and data pipelines
- Connect applications with equipment, sensors, and IoT/OT systems
Requirements:
- At least three years of professional software development experience
- Programming ability in Python, JavaScript, and TypeScript
- Experience with user interfaces and server-side applications
- Experience with SQL, databases, data integration, and pipelines
- Experience deploying applications in Azure or AWS
