Build Java backend systems for Localcoin’s cryptocurrency ATM network, using Spring and SQL within an engineering team based in Toronto.
As a Java Backend Developer, you will develop and maintain functional, stable applications for system consistency and availability. You will work with the Engineering team using Agile delivery practices. The work spans cryptocurrency ATMs, online products, blockchain integrations, and distributed cloud environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the backend server connecting over 200 cryptocurrency ATM machines
- Create and maintain high availability systems for ATM operations
- Improve KYC verification and transaction monitoring products
- Integrate software with blockchain networks and providers
- Deliver features across cryptocurrency ATM and online products
Requirements:
- Five or more years of backend development experience
- Strong Java 8 knowledge with Maven or Gradle
- In-depth Spring Boot, JPA, MVC, and Security experience
- RESTful services, testing, code coverage, and Sonar experience
- Strong SQL, Git flow, NGINX, and Docker proficiency
