Build production software with React, Node.js, and cloud platforms as a Senior Software Engineer in Calgary, working hybrid with three office days.
QFG seeks a Software Engineer with two-plus years of professional experience supporting production software. You will design, build, test, and deploy features across front-end, back-end, or full-stack systems. The work includes React Native, ReactJS, Node.js, TypeScript, databases, and containerized cloud workloads.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and deploy features across the full software lifecycle
- Translate product requirements into sound technical designs
- Write readable, performant, secure, observable production code
- Review code and mentor junior developers through pairing
- Resolve production issues and address technical debt
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience
- Two-plus years building and supporting production software
- React Native, ReactJS, or Node.js and TypeScript proficiency
- Relational or NoSQL database experience with query tuning
- Cloud platform and containerized workload experience
