Oversee EPC engineering packages and technical solutions for renewable infrastructure, based in Edmonton with scheduled hybrid office and home work.
This Senior Oversight Electrical Engineer IV provides informal leadership across utility-scale solar and wind projects. You will coordinate EPC contractors, internal teams, stakeholders, and regulatory groups while maintaining project, design, environmental, health, and safety compliance. Technical support spans development, detailed design, construction, commissioning, and closeout.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead contractor package reviews and coordinate design refinements
- Prepare construction drawings for solar and wind facilities
- Specify materials and complete technical bid evaluations
- Address engineering RFIs and field modifications during construction
- Coordinate technical resources and external stakeholder solutions
Requirements:
- 10+ years electrical system design and commissioning experience
- Minimum three years across renewable energy projects
- Degree in electrical engineering at bachelor’s or master’s level
- Knowledge of PV, wind, BESS, substations, and interconnection
- Strong collaboration and influence without formal authority
Lead EPC oversight through project delivery using electrical design, renewable energy, and stakeholder coordination expertise.
