Monitor hydrogen and clean energy processes as an Air Products Production Technician at ENZHEC, supporting safe, reliable operations on rotating shifts.
This Production Technician works within a highly skilled operations team at Air Products’ Edmonton Net Zero Hydrogen and Energy Complex. The facility integrates hydrogen production, liquefaction, carbon capture, power generation, and air separation technologies. Technicians cross-train across plant positions while monitoring processes, troubleshooting systems, and supporting maintenance activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine field checks on processes and equipment
- Support maintenance activities and coordinate corrective actions
- Complete plant logs and maintain safety documentation
- Respond to abnormal or emergency situations
- Communicate plant status with operators and supervisors
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Third Class Power Engineer Certificate
- Refining or petrochemical facility experience
- Mechanical, instrumentation, or electrical proficiency
- Willingness to work rotating shifts and weekends
