Propel your finance career forward with a premier Ottawa high-tech employer Our top-tier client is seeking a bright, polished and confident Controller to join their finance team. As a key member of the finance management team, you will provide financial support and analysis to help drive the organization's success. Reporting to the Director of Finance, you will lead a team of finance professionals and partner closely with senior operational leaders as a trusted advisor. This role offers daily variety, strong growth potential, and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact from day one. Your responsibilities will include:
- Ensuring accurate and timely monthly and quarterly financial reporting
- Performing technical accounting analysis in accordance with IFRS
- Analyzing, summarizing, and presenting financial results to senior leadership
- Supporting the M&A team with the financial integration of new acquisitions
- Managing, coaching, and mentoring fellow financial professionals

Qualifications:
The main qualifications for this role include:
- Formal accounting education
- Complete or nearly completed CPA
- A minimum of 4+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Excellent communication & interpersonal skills
Definite Assets:
- Previous public accounting, high-tech or SaaS industry experience
- Familiarity with IFRS
Compensation:
- $100,000 - $115,000 annual salary range
- Remote work environment
