Lead facilities management at McKenzie Towne Retirement in Calgary, using technical expertise and hands-on maintenance skills. Support residents through reliable building services.
As Maintenance Manager, you will guide the environmental services team at a Cogir Senior Living retirement residence. You will coordinate housekeeping and maintenance support, optimize equipment performance, and maintain the building’s physical condition. Working with the Executive Director and residence leadership, you will help support resident satisfaction, safety, and a positive living experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Guide environmental services, housekeeping, and maintenance support
- Perform hands-on environmental tasks and repairs when required
- Maintain building systems, equipment reliability, and physical condition
- Implement environmental sustainability practices throughout the residence
- Support resident, employee, and guest safety
Requirements:
- Minimum three years’ environmental services or maintenance experience
- Knowledge of plumbing, electrical, mechanical, HVAC, and emergency systems
- Experience managing and leading teams preferred
- Facility management program enrollment or trades license
- JHSC and working-at-heights certification or willingness to obtain
