Design Generative AI and machine learning solutions as a Senior AI Engineer with Celestica’s hybrid Data & Analytics team in Toronto.
This senior role connects business stakeholders with technical AI teams across Celestica. You will scope use cases, architect production-ready solutions, and collaborate with the Data Center of Excellence. Your work spans LLMs, RAG patterns, vector databases, and MLOps practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Document AI requirements through stakeholder workshops and technical deep dives
- Define model architectures, feasibility, and success metrics
- Design vector database ingestion pipelines and embedding strategies
- Develop prompts and orchestration workflows using AI frameworks
- Monitor model performance, drift, and hallucination rates
Requirements:
- 11+ years in Information Technology, Software Engineering, or Data Science
- 3-5 years focused on AI or machine learning engineering
- Advanced Python and relevant machine learning library proficiency
- Generative AI, LLM, prompt engineering, and vector database knowledge
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a related field
