Elevate security practices as the IT Risk and Controls Manager at RBC in Toronto, Canada. Oversee risk management programs, regulatory reporting, and enhance information security practices.
In this senior role, you will be responsible for managing security-related operations and initiatives, assessing risks, and implementing effective solutions. Your extensive knowledge in IT risk management will guide you in creating policies, standards, and training. You will also work collaboratively across business units to provide risk advisory and consultation.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop and enforce organization-wide security risk assessment standards
• Monitor business needs and recommend information security enhancements
• Manage IT risk controls across operations and ensure compliance
• Create training on risk metrics and procedures for staff
• Cultivate relationships with key stakeholders on risk discussions
Requirements:
• Degree and qualifications in risk or cybersecurity required
• Deep IT knowledge in operating systems and security architectures
• Proven experience in service delivery and project management
• Internal or external IT audit qualification
• Passionate about technology risk management Lead impactful security programs and ensure compliance throughout RBC's operations in Toronto.
