Join AECOM in Burnaby, BC, as a Civil/Transportation Engineering Intern to support vital infrastructure development. Focus on traffic engineering and transportation planning in a collaborative setting.
As part of AECOM’s engineering team, you will participate in wide-ranging transportation projects and assist in impactful civil works. This internship is perfect for current students in their Civil Engineering Bachelor's program, eager to explore traffic studies, municipal designs, and data analysis. Your contributions will enhance your knowledge and professional skill set.
Key Responsibilities
• Assist with transportation planning and traffic assessments
• Support data collection on traffic behavior and patterns
• Develop technical documentation for engineering projects
• Aid in design drafting using relevant design software
• Conduct field investigations and inspections as needed
Requirements:
• Must be enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program in Civil Engineering
• At least two years of academic coursework completed
• Interest in traffic and transportation engineering
• Experience with CAD tools preferred
• Strong problem-solving and communication abilities Embark on a meaningful journey in transportation engineering with AECOM and make a difference in urban infrastructure.
