Key Responsibilities
• Develop and assist in resident-centered activity programs
• Keep detailed records of resident assessments
• Build relationships within the community and with families
• Organize and facilitate outings for residents
• Participate in team meetings for program planning
Requirements:
• Diploma in Recreation, Leisure Studies, or Gerontology
• Experience with elderly populations
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Willing to undergo a Vulnerable Sector Check Enhance resident lives through compassionate recreation services at Extendicare.
