Drive inventory planning and purchasing accuracy as a Procurement Coordinator supporting multiple branches and a Distribution Center. Use analytical skills and ERP expertise daily.
The Fastener Group supports industrial customers across Western Canada through fasteners, tools, and industrial supplies distribution. This Procurement Coordinator sources and replenishes inventory across a diverse product portfolio. The work connects demand planning, supplier coordination, and timely customer fulfillment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor inventory, demand trends, and supplier lead times
- Create, release, and manage purchase orders in ERP
- Analyze sales and inventory performance for buying decisions
- Coordinate replenishment across branches and Distribution Center
- Resolve supplier delivery, shortage, invoice, and quality issues
Requirements:
- Minimum five years purchasing or inventory management experience
- Experience with replenishment and demand planning
- Strong analytical skills interpreting sales and inventory data
- ERP experience and strong Microsoft Excel proficiency
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Supply Chain Management preferred
