Shape SAP Finance solutions through presales and architecture work for Talan, based in Canada with North American client travel. Apply deep expertise in S/4HANA Finance.
Reporting to the Vice President, Delivery, you serve as Talan’s functional authority for SAP Finance processes. You will qualify opportunities, lead discovery, define solutions, prepare estimates, and present proposals. The role spans planning, budgeting, transactions, consolidation, close, integrations, and Finance design authority.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead opportunity qualification, discovery sessions, and client presentations
- Design SAP Finance solutions, estimates, proposals, and demonstrations
- Approve functional direction and resolve deviations from standard
- Review designs, test strategies, data migration, and cutover decisions
- Coach consultants and maintain reusable practice assets
Requirements:
- At least twelve years of SAP experience
- At least ten years configuring SAP Finance
- Four SAP S/4HANA projects, including one greenfield implementation
- Three years approving functional designs across concurrent engagements
- Knowledge of universal journal, Group Reporting, and Analytics Cloud Planning
