As a Senior Environmental Data Engineer, you will develop custom tools, reports, workflows, and APIs supporting environmental data management. You will work with internal and external clients to clarify database needs and deliver scalable solutions. The work spans ETL pipelines, T-SQL, Azure services, testing, documentation, and project support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Extend EQuIS with custom tools, reports, and data workflows
- Design ETL pipelines for laboratory, field, and logger data
- Develop secure REST APIs connecting EQuIS with other systems
- Optimize T-SQL across Azure SQL and Microsoft SQL Server
- Manage Azure DevOps source control and CI/CD pipelines
Requirements:
- 10+ years of environmental data management experience
- 5+ years developing C# and modern .NET applications
- Strong SQL Server, Azure SQL, and T-SQL proficiency
- Experience deploying applications and services in Azure
- Experience developing or customizing EQuIS solutions
