Advance dermatology science with AbbVie as a Medical Science Liaison, using scientific communication and healthcare relationships to support Medical Affairs. Travel approximately 50%.
This Medical Science Liaison develops relationships with established and emerging external experts and healthcare professionals. The position provides scientific and medical information to external experts and internal stakeholders. It also supports investigator initiated studies, clinical studies, and medical projects within the therapeutic area.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain scientific knowledge for credible healthcare professional discussions
- Support investigator initiated and clinical studies
- Present scientific matters individually or in groups
- Attend conferences and summarize key scientific data
- Coordinate collaborative research and educational efforts
Requirements:
- PhD, PharmD, or M.D. advanced degree
- Knowledge of biotechnology or pharmaceutical industry
- Experience interpreting scientific or clinical publications
- Knowledge of clinical research methods and regulations
- English proficiency, Microsoft Office skills, and valid license
Bring dermatology knowledge, scientific presentation ability, and stakeholder engagement skills to AbbVie’s Medical Affairs team with frequent travel.
