Lead aviation design for Associated Engineering in Calgary, Edmonton, or Vancouver, using civil engineering expertise and client-focused communication. Flexible or hybrid arrangements may apply.
This experienced Airport Designer role supports public and private sector aviation projects across Western Canada and the North. You will provide technical expertise, manage project delivery, and lead multidisciplinary teams. The position combines design leadership, project management, business development, and direct client engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare proposals, designs, estimates, specifications, and contract documents
- Advance aviation projects through concept, design, and construction
- Manage client relationships and develop new business opportunities
- Lead multidisciplinary teams delivering major aviation projects
- Mentor engineers and technologists through project assignments
Requirements:
- Professional Engineer registration or eligibility with a listed Canadian association
- 10+ years of progressive civil engineering experience
- Public and private sector aviation project experience
- Project management and business development experience
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel throughout Canada
