Lead Farm Boy’s fresh shopping experience through exceptional customer service, hands-on leadership, and strong produce department operations.
As Produce Department Manager, you’ll guide departmental performance while partnering with the Store Manager and Retail Specialist. You’ll coach teams, execute strategies, and maintain standards across inventory, merchandising, and product quality. Your leadership will support trust, engagement, and high performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver exceptional customer service supporting Farm Boy’s fresh shopping vision
- Collaborate on strategies achieving departmental goals and business objectives
- Coach teams through huddles, feedback, recognition, and development
- Oversee recruitment, training, performance reviews, and ongoing development
- Manage inventory, ordering, merchandising, scheduling, payroll, and shrink
Requirements:
- Passion for engaging and exceptional customer service
- Business post-secondary education and three years’ supervisory experience
- Required food handling, Smart Serve, and First Aid certifications
- Strong organizational, analytical, and interpersonal skills
- Flexibility for evenings, weekends, holidays, standing, and heavy lifting
