Operate commercial building systems with QuadReal Property Group in Edmonton, applying HVAC expertise and technical maintenance skills. Support safe, efficient, environmentally responsible property performance.
Reporting to the Operations Supervisor, the Building Operator, Level 2 supports Edmonton building operations. The work covers HVAC, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, life safety, and building automation systems. It also includes maintenance documentation, tenant service, regulatory compliance, and sustainability programs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate, monitor, maintain, and repair building systems
- Complete preventative maintenance, inspections, rounds, and documentation
- Respond promptly and professionally to tenant service requests
- Use BAS, work orders, and operational data to identify issues
- Participate in on-call, weekend, and emergency response rotations
Requirements:
- Minimum 5th Class Power Engineer Certificate
- Minimum three years of commercial building operations experience
- Knowledge of HVAC, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and life safety systems
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and building operations technologies
- Valid driver's licence and availability for required rotations
