Lead metal roofing construction projects on site using blueprint reading, scheduling, and worker supervision skills. This role is fully on site.
The Metal Roofing Construction Foreman supervises five to ten roofers, apprentices, and labourers across commercial and industrial construction settings. Responsibilities include coordinating activities, estimating materials, setting up equipment, and supporting safe project delivery. The position requires five years or more of experience, English or French, and secondary school graduation or equivalent experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise workers and metal building assembly projects
- Coordinate schedules, activities, and project requirements
- Read blueprints and drawings for construction work
- Estimate costs, materials, equipment, and supplies
- Ensure health and safety regulations are followed
Requirements:
- Five years or more of experience
- English or French language ability
- Secondary school graduation or equivalent experience
- Valid driver's licence
- Organization, reliability, and excellent oral communication
