Lead Hand for Autonomous Systems at IAMGOLD

As the Lead Hand reporting to the Supervisor of Informational-Operational Technology, you will bridge Operations, Maintenance, and IT/OT. Your expertise will support reliable and high-performing autonomous operations in Canada’s advanced gold mining setting. This role demands strong leadership skills combined with technical knowledge to ensure seamless performance across mining technologies.

Key Responsibilities
• Lead AHRT team in maintaining autonomous hardware systems
• Oversee commissioning of communication infrastructure
• Plan and coordinate daily work activities for the team
• Implement maintenance frameworks and SOPs for security
• Build cross-functional relationships with stakeholders

Requirements:
• Grade 12 or equivalent; related college or university qualifications
• Minimum 5 years of experience in electrical or communications roles
• Knowledge of autonomous systems and fleet management
• Experience with microwave and wireless communication systems
• Ability to read technical schematics and specifications Drive innovation and enhance communication technology in mining operations at IAMGOLD’s Côté Gold site.
