Lead daily accounting operations in Mississauga with advanced Excel, ERP proficiency, and cross-border financial expertise. This permanent, full-time position supports Canada and US operations.
Our client is a family-run manufacturing company with more than 40 years of success. As Accounting Manager, you will oversee accounting activities, maintain financial accuracy, and support operations across multiple entities. The role requires progressive accounting experience, manufacturing exposure, and strong English communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee accounts payable, receivable, and credit management
- Manage cash flow reporting and bank reconciliations
- Coordinate month-end close, journal entries, and reporting
- Support budgeting, audits, and US GAAP compliance
- Manage US sales tax filings across multiple entities
Requirements:
- Five-plus years of progressive accounting experience
- Manufacturing and cost accounting exposure preferred
- Familiarity with multi-entity and cross-border accounting
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- Advanced Excel, ERP, analytical, and communication skills
