Lead X-Ray services at Canada Diagnostic Centres in Mira, Edmonton, using radiography expertise and compassionate patient care full-time. Coach technologists while supporting remarkable outpatient clinic experiences.<／p>
This certified X-Ray Team Lead oversees the Mira clinic’s X-Ray team and associated services. The position combines hands-on diagnostic imaging with coaching, process improvement, and collaboration with radiologists and healthcare professionals. You will support performance management, retention, training, scheduling, and clinic operations while helping patients feel comfortable.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform standardized and complex X-Ray exams under clinical direction
- Coach and mentor X-Ray Technologists at Mira clinic
- Explain procedures, answer questions, and ease patient concerns
- Monitor equipment performance and document basic system issues
- Contribute data-informed process improvements and regulatory compliance
Requirements:
- Active or eligible CAMRT and ACMDTT registration
- Clinical competency in radiography and interest in expanding skills
- Proven coaching, mentoring, and team leadership experience
- Microsoft Office and patient management systems experience
- Compassionate, collaborative, adaptable, and flexible approach
