Teach in BrightPath classrooms across Calgary, Edmonton, or Red Deer using Alberta curriculum knowledge and strong communication skills. This is a full-time school-year teaching position.
BrightPath Educational Supports, facilitated by Marlborough Day Nursery ECS Limited, seeks a certificated teacher for its PUF program and Kindergarten settings. The teacher collaborates with multidisciplinary teams, families, therapy professionals, and Centre staff. Responsibilities include developing Individual Program Plans, supporting Educational Assistants and classroom educators, and completing required documentation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate within multidisciplinary teams and Professional Learning Communities
- Develop IPPs for children in the PUF program
- Execute strategies supporting Educational Assistants and classroom educators
- Follow Alberta Education Curriculum and Kindergarten Scope and Sequence
- Complete lesson plans, report cards, IPPs, and growth plans
Requirements:
- Alberta Education interim or permanent teaching certification
- Bachelor of Education degree
- Eligibility to work in Canada without sponsorship
- Excellent communication and conflict resolution skills
- Driver’s license, reliable vehicle, clearances, and current First Aid
