PowerShell automation, PHP scripting, and system support shape this permanent Systems Developer opportunity with Saskatchewan Distance Learning Centre, based in Regina or Saskatoon.
Reporting to the Manager, Information Technology, the role develops automations and solutions for business needs. Responsibilities include infrastructure planning, security procedures, permissions, licensing, backup planning, and an IT Support Portal. You will also provide system-level support to the IT service desk.
Key Responsibilities:
- Automate tasks using Python, PowerShell, PHP, and related languages
- Plan solutions for hardware, software, and infrastructure
- Maintain security procedures and software permissions
- Ensure licensing compliance for deployed software products
- Develop and manage the IT Support Portal
Requirements:
- Computer science or information technology degree, or equivalent
- Three years of programmer or analyst expertise
- Familiarity with cloud technologies and API systems
- Knowledge of data security and compliance practices
- Strong organizational skills managing multiple projects and deadlines
Use scripting, infrastructure, security, and service desk support expertise to develop reliable systems for Saskatchewan Distance Learning Centre.
