As a Technology Procurement and Vendor Management Specialist, you will support IT-related purchasing for hardware, software, cloud solutions, and licensing models. You will develop sourcing materials, assess vendor responses, and help align procurement decisions with company objectives. The work requires organization, communication, and relationship management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Understand technology requirements with D&T and other departments
- Support RFP, RFQ, and RFI development
- Review vendor responses and recommend selections
- Research markets and identify cost-saving opportunities
- Monitor vendor spend and improve cost-effectiveness
Requirements:
- Strong understanding of IT products and services
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
- Strong project management and organizational skills
- Ability to manage competing priorities effectively
- Track record of driving value or cost efficiencies
