Maintain oilfield rental equipment for Clean Harbors in Red Deer, Alberta, using strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills. Support service calls at remote locations and client sites.
As a Senior Solids Control Technician, you will repair and maintain solids control equipment, including centrifuges and pumps. The work includes branch shop duties, client locations, and rotating day or night shifts. Safety compliance, detailed paperwork, and equipment readiness remain central to daily operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Rig in, rig out, repair, and maintain solids control equipment
- Troubleshoot minor electrical issues and other equipment problems
- Complete safety documents, work orders, service records, and reports
- Service solids control equipment weekly following manufacturer guidelines
- Notify management when repaired equipment is ready for use
Requirements:
- Valid Class 5 Driver’s License
- Experience maintaining and rigging in or out solids control equipment
- First-Aid and H2S Alive safety tickets upon hire
- Ability to work daily in the Red Deer shop
- Strong mechanical, communication, organizational, and analytical skills
