This Actuarial Associate opportunity suits soon-to-be graduates and recent graduates pursuing actuarial consulting. You will develop analytical, communication, problem-solving, and professional judgment skills while supporting client decisions. Assignments may span Wealth Solutions, Health, Risk Consulting, or Reinsurance, depending on business need, location, and role alignment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze data and build or review actuarial models
- Test scenarios and validate outputs against actuarial principles
- Support analysis of obligations, risks, assumptions, trends, and outcomes
- Draft reports, presentations, and analysis summaries
- Coordinate workstreams and improve actuarial processes
Requirements:
- Soon-to-be graduate or recent graduate
- Interest in actuarial consulting, analytics, risk, or finance
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Analytical thinking, problem-solving ability, and attention to detail
- Legal authorization to work in Canada without sponsorship
