Build network infrastructure automation at Global Relay using Ansible, REST APIs, Python, and telemetry across appliances. Support configuration efficiency at scale.
The Network Automation Specialist develops code for deployments involving network and firewall appliances. This position participates in network operations while emphasizing DevOps activities and remote management. You will help identify automation use cases and improve configurations across Global Relay data centers and offices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify network operations use cases for automation
- Configure, monitor, and analyze appliances through Ansible
- Integrate scripting solutions supporting visibility and operational efficiency
- Set up device logging, monitoring, dashboards, and graphs
- Document runbooks, user guides, support guides, and procedures
Requirements:
- Two to five years of DevOps capacity experience
- Familiarity with configuration management and templating tools
- Basic Git experience pulling, committing, and pushing code
- Understanding of OSI model and TCP/IP
- Availability for emergency work and maintenance windows
Use infrastructure automation, monitoring, Ansible, and network operations knowledge to strengthen Global Relay appliance environments.
