Role: Senior/Intermediate React Native Developer
Type: Contract-6+ Months
Location: Toronto, ON- 5x/Month-Onsite (1-2x/week)
Compensation: $70-$79/hour
Interview Process: 2 Client Rounds (1- Technical- In-person- 1.5 Hours, 2- Remote)
Must-Have Skills:
- Experience working with modern/recent versions of React Native
- Strong hands-on experience with Expo
- Experience working within Agile development squads
- Ability to take Figma designs and independently translate them into production-ready mobile features
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with Product, Design, QA, and Engineering teams
Nice to Have:
- Experience troubleshooting React Native issues within native mobile layers
- Experience with EAS Build and EAS Update
- Experience with Zustand and/or TanStack
- Experience with Expo-based navigation
- Experience with Jenkins and GitHub Actions
- Experience with GitHub Copilot or other AI-assisted development tools
- Exposure to spec-driven development
- Experience with Figma MCP servers, Spec Kit, or similar AI-enabled engineering workflows
- Experience developing applications within banking, financial services, or other highly regulated environments
