Lead resident programs at Extendicare while advancing satisfaction, community engagement, and recreation team leadership in a full-time position.
The Resident Program Manager develops and implements activities that improve the resident experience. This full-time role guides recreation staff and volunteers, manages budgets, and supports resident and family satisfaction targets. The position also follows Extendicare’s Guiding Principles, regulatory requirements, and Resident Bill of Rights.
Key Responsibilities:
- Achieve resident and family satisfaction targets
- Develop and implement resident programs and activities
- Lead and motivate recreation staff and volunteers
- Maintain budgets and monitor departmental expenditures
- Promote community engagement through volunteers and partners
Requirements:
- Ability to manage recreation budgets and expenditures
- Ability to hire, train, and engage recreation teams
- Commitment to regulatory requirements and resident rights
- Ability to support resident participation in monthly activities
- Commitment to HEART: Hear, Empathize, Acknowledge, Respond, Thank
