Diagnose and repair diesel trucks at Penske in Scarborough, using advanced diagnostic equipment, hand tools, and power tools.
As a Licensed Technician I, you will service tractor-trailer equipment with little supervision. The work includes preventive maintenance, component troubleshooting, inspections, repairs, and road testing. Penske provides OEM training and industry-leading tools.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform preventive maintenance services on trucks and trailers
- Diagnose engines, transmissions, differentials, and fuel systems
- Inspect brakes, steering, bearings, guards, and safety devices
- Use diagnostic equipment, welding tools, jacks, and hoists
- Document warrantable repairs and complete road tests
Requirements:
- Five or more years maintaining tractor-trailer equipment
- Provincial Red Seal or 310T license
- Class D or Class 3 license with air brakes
- Proficiency with diagnostic, welding, hand, and power tools
- Basic computer skills and government registration required
