Drive hotel sales and catering through direct sales, event tours, and account development at Courtyard by Marriott Edmonton Downtown. This temporary role emphasizes customer service.
As Sales and Catering Manager with Concord Hospitality, you will develop business for guest rooms and event space. The 12-month maternity leave position includes account management, event coordination, forecasting, and digital sales systems. You will support hotel revenue goals through proactive outreach, marketing, telemarketing, direct mail, tours, and appointments. The role also involves communication, planning, reporting, training, and employee supervision as directed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain assigned accounts and develop new hotel business
- Manage pre-event, event, and post-event details
- Forecast group rooms and food and beverage revenues
- Conduct sales calls, tours, and appointments
- Assist with reports, training, coaching, and supervision
Requirements:
- Provide high customer service to clients and internal partners
- Communicate quickly, professionally, and clearly
- Demonstrate time management and proactive planning
- Show self-motivation and attention to detail
- Learn digital sales systems and hotel strategies
