Position: Supervisor / Foreman - Machining & Welding ProductionLocation: MontrealSalary: Starting at $78,000Job Type: Full-time, permanentJob Description:Reporting to the General Management, you will be responsible for supervising operations in the machining workshop and welding department. You will ensure planning, quality, and adherence to deadlines while providing technical support to the team and participating in production when necessary. Your role will be essential in achieving the company's strategic objectives.Responsibilities:- Plan, organize, and control manufacturing and production activities.- Implement monitoring methods and ensure quality control during production.- Optimize resource utilization (materials, labor, equipment).- Provide technical support and collaborate in recruitment interviews.- Ensure compliance with schedules through an ERP management system.- Participate in part production when required.Profile Sought:- Mandatory training in machining (DEP/AEC).- Minimum 7-8 years of experience in conventional machining with proven leadership.- Experience supervising a workshop (3-5 years or more): an asset.- Knowledge of metal fabrication, welding, and blueprint reading: an asset.- Autonomy, effective communication, sound judgment, and leadership.Conditions and Benefits:- Competitive salary starting at $78,000- Group insurance- Flexible schedules and on-site parking- Day shift, Monday to Friday (8 hours/day)Please send your resume in Word format to Melissa Cardi at melissa.cardi@quantum.ca.REFER A PERM HIRE AND EARN UP TO $1,000 For more details, click here.CNESST permit numbers: AP-2000158 & AR-2000157
