What is your role within the Forsman & Bodenfors Collective?

As a Strategist at Forsman & Bodenfors you’ll be one of our culture nerds. The Collective will rely on you to connect the details of projects to the big picture of the business, through inspiring creative and clients alike. It’s a prerequisite that you be a lifelong learner, someone who can’t help themselves but to investigate question and uncover its truth. It’s a plus if you’re chronically online or out in the world exploring what it means to be human, and if you hate advertising but want to build ideas that really changes things, then great, us too.


What can you expect from working with us?

You can expect to be immersed in the process of building foundational knowledge and skills within the Creative Strategy discipline. You’ll build a working knowledge of all discovery tools and processes and will able to execute through discovery into brand, category, culture and audience dynamics. You’ll become a trusted connector across agency functions and for the client teams you work with.


What will it entail?

  • Curiosity and optimism for culture and advertising
  • Aids in the creation of client marketing objectives and strategies
  • Supporting more senior Strategists in their strategic thinking
  • Writes POVs as needed on consumer, cultural and category trends
  • Writes simple creative briefs
  • Works with the creative department to design creative solutions for briefs
  • Helps ‘sell’ creative ideas by proving why they work in the cultural, category or consumer context
  • Participates, if appropriate, in face-to-face client meetings
  • Compile research and report on competitive market information for brands & categories
  • Build positive relationships with internal and external teams
  • A dig-in attitude – we’re a service-based industry

  • Post-secondary education in a relevant field
  • Proficiency in Office, Google, and Apple productivity suites (Adobe is a plus)
  • Highly developed organizational skills with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Awareness of the latest consumer and cultural trends and innovations
  • Ability to express oneself clearly and concisely in written and oral communications


We are currently following a hybrid work model and share our time between our Toronto office located downtown at King & Parliament, and our home offices. Employees need to be within accessible and commutable distance to the office.
