Start date and EFT can be negotiated. BRHC has a 21-bed Emergency Department staffed 24/7 by at least one physician. There are 12 hours of double coverage with two physicians on site. On-call services include general surgery, obstetrics, and anesthesia. Respiratory therapy is available from 0800-1600, Monday to Friday.QualificationsMedical Degree with postgraduate training in Family Medicine or Royal College Certification in Emergency MedicinePreferred: Postgraduate training in Family Medicine with Certificate of Added Competency in Emergency MedicineRequired licensure: Medical Degree with post-graduate training or certification as aboveACLS, PALS, ATLS, NRPProcedural SedationPoCUS with EDE1 or equivalentAIME or equivalent airway management courseRemuneration and HoursIn accordance with the provincial contract, including:Negotiated agreement with Doctors Manitoba and Shared HealthPart-time EFTs availableCasual shifts availableShifts of 6, 8, or 12 hoursApplication InstructionsPhysicians should submit a CV highlighting ED training (e.g., CCFP-EM), experience, current certification in PALS, ACLS, NRP, and ATLS.
