Job Title: MPP Sales Support Specialist – (Hybrid)

Location: Ontario, CA

Job Summary: MPP Sales Support provides comprehensive technology and sales support for the various Broker Tools platforms. In this role, you will assist Mortgage Brokers, Business Development Managers, and Lenders to enhance productivity, client relationships, and the quality of MPP/CSP insurance applications.

Typical Day in Role

  • Deliver industry leading customer service through both phone and email channels, promptly handling inquiries, and ensuring timely follow up through to resolution.
  • Set up and support both Lender and Broker profiles as required for participation in the MCI programs.
  • Provide business support for Mortgage Protection Plan processes to Mortgage Brokers, Lenders and Manulife Sales team members. This include responding to inquiries about policies, compensation, sales tips, licensing and product training.
  • Partner with the Sales team on broker training presentations.
  • Troubleshoot all issues escalated from either Brokers or Sales and ensure timely communication to Production Support as necessary.
  • On-going suggestions for process and technology improvements.
  • Collaborate across the different teams on all business initiatives.
  • Act as a resource for other Manulife department inquiries.

Candidate Requirements/Must Have Skills:

  • 2+ years' experience customer service/admin
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills.
  • Role requires candidate to communicate regularly with mortgage brokers/ lenders
  • Proficient in MS Office, CRM systems like Salesforce, and data entry.

Required Soft skills:

  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Capable of working both independently and within a team.
  • Ability to effectively work in a customer service environment
  • Team Oriented but also able to work well independently
  • Flexible in taking on new tasks and responsibilities to support the sales team

Nice-To-Have Skills:

  • Experience in the Mortgage Creditor Industry is a plus.
  • Bilingual French/English skills are an asset but not required.

Education:

  • Postgraduate education or relevant experience.
