Role Description

CUC is seeking a Full-time Civil Foreman to join our growing team. The Civil Foreman will be responsible for coordinating and supervising the work of construction crews, ensuring that projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget. The Foreman will be responsible for on-site work and will be located in Vancouver, BC.

Qualifications
  • 7+ years of experience in civil construction, with a minimum of 3 years of experience in a supervisory role
  • Excellent understanding of underground utility construction, including water main, sanitary sewer, and storm sewer work
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, plans, and drawings
  • Experience in project management and budgeting
  • Knowledge of occupational health and safety regulations and practices is an asset
  • Ability to operate heavy equipment such as excavators and backhoes is an asset
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
  • Completion of post-secondary education in a related field is an asset
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
