This role demands a thorough understanding of CNC programming and hands-on experience with machine controls like FANUC and Mitsubishi. You will develop new machining techniques and provide support to team members, driving automation and process enhancements.
Key Responsibilities: • Innovate and test machining techniques for cutting tools • Optimize CNC macro programs to boost efficiency • Collaborate with IT for automation strategy development • Mentor team members and guide CAM development • Address and solve technical issues in the machine shop
Requirements: • Minimum five years of relevant CNC experience • Proficient with controls including Heidenhain • Strong foundation in mechanical engineering principles • Bachelor’s or diploma in Mechanical Engineering • Willingness to travel for short-term projects
