Role DescriptionThis is a full-time on-site role for a Chief Estimator. The Chief Estimator will be responsible for day-to-day tasks such as preparing and reviewing the estimates for various construction projects, coordinating with the project management team, and analyzing and interpreting construction drawings and specifications to ensure accurate estimates.
QualificationsKnowledge of construction materials, methods, and techniquesExperience in construction estimating and bidding for general contract workAbility to analyze and interpret construction drawings and specificationsProficiency in Microsoft Office and estimating softwareStrong written and verbal communication skillsAttention to detail and ability to multitask and prioritizeBachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field is preferredExperience in project management or construction supervision is a pluspossess a minimum of 10+ years of estimating experience within the Commercial industry.have ground up building experiencehave a sound knowledge of construction worker agreement, lump sum, and design-build contracts.take responsibility for your success and failure.believe in delivering excellence.find solutions to problems that stop others from forging ahead.are a forward thinker.are resilient in overcoming obstacles and have deep dedication towards your work
