Millwright Maintenance Technician – Day Shift (Mississauga)Kelly Services is partnering with a leading food and beverage manufacturer in Mississauga to recruit a Licensed Millwright Maintenance Technician. This is a full‑time, straight day‑shift position offering stability, competitive pay, and strong long‑term growth potential.Position OverviewThe Millwright Maintenance Technician will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing facility equipment, utility systems, and production machinery. This role requires a licensed Millwright with a minimum of 5 years of industrial maintenance experience who can work independently, make sound technical decisions, and support a high‑performance manufacturing environment.Schedule & CompensationShift: Monday to Friday, 8‑hour shifts6:00 AM – 2:30 PM or 7:00 AM – 3:30 PMPay: $38–$40+ per hour (based on licensing and experience)Employment Type: Full‑time, permanentKey ResponsibilitiesPerform preventive and corrective maintenance on mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.Independently troubleshoot equipment failures to reduce downtime and maintain production flow.Install, dismantle, rebuild, and align machinery using precision tools and measurement equipment.Conduct welding, fabrication, and machining work as required.Safely rig, lift, and position equipment.Maintain accurate documentation in CMMS and ensure compliance with GMP, HACCP, and food safety standards.Respond to maintenance service calls and support production teams as needed.QualificationsLicensed Industrial Millwright (433A) – required.Minimum 5 years of industrial maintenance experience, ideally within food, beverage, or pharmaceutical manufacturing.Strong troubleshooting ability with mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.Skilled in welding, fabrication, machining, and precision alignment.Ability to interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.Comfortable working independently and making informed maintenance decisions.Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs. and working in confined or elevated spaces.Strong commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.BenefitsCompetitive hourly wage with overtime opportunities.Comprehensive health and dental benefits.Retirement savings plan.Paid vacation and personal days.Straight day shift — evenings and weekends free.Opportunities for advancement within a respected, growing manufacturer.Apply NowIf you are a licensed Millwright with strong independent troubleshooting skills looking for a stable day‑shift role with excellent pay and benefits, we’d love to connect with you.
